S355ML-Z35 is a kind of weldable fine grain structural steel under EN10025-4 standard, which belongs to the European standard low alloy series steel. In fact, it is flat rolled material with thickness not more than 120mm and long material with thickness ≤ 150 mm. S is the meaning of structural steel. 355 refers to the min. tensile yield strength when the material thickness is less than 16mm, the unit is MPa, M refers to a process of heat treatment.
S355ML-Z35 material specification, shape, weight and tolerance shall conform to 2.2 of EN10025-1.
S355ML-Z35 structural steel is generally hot rolled, similar materials are: S355M, S355N, S355NL, and those materials are different in impact temperature and heat treatment process.
