EN10025-4 steel grade S460M plate is weldable fine grain structure steel and its thickness is no more than 120mm. S460M steel is composed of the following parts: symbol letter S: structural steel, 460 is min. yield strength value less than 16 mm thickness, M represents delivery condition. The specified impact test temperature for S460M plate is not lower than -20℃.

The main difference between EN10025-4 steel grade S460M plate and S460ML steel plate is their impact test temperature and energy. Both of the two materials are used in heavily loaded parts of welded structures such as, bridges, flood gates, storage tanks, water supply tanks, etc., for service at ambient and low temperatures.
