Converter steelmaking: The furnace body of the converter can be rotated, and the steel plate is used as the outer shell, and the refractory is used as the inner lining. Converter EN10025-4 steel S420ML steelmaking does not require additional heating, because the molten iron is inherently high temperature, and it still continues to generate thermal oxidation reactions (from silicon, carbon and oxygen in molten iron).Because no more fuel is needed for heating, energy consumption is reduced.

The carbon content of EN10025-4 steel S420ML, hot rolled steel plate is slightly higher than that of cold rolled steel plate. Hot rolled steel plate has low hardness, easy processing and good ductility. Cold rolled steel plate has high hardness and is difficult to process, but it is not easy to deform and has high strength. The strength of hot-rolled steel plate is relatively low, the surface quality (oxidation finish) is low, but the plasticity is good, and it is generally medium thick plate.
