The company celebrates Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Opening. In October 23th, 2018, Chinese President Xi Jinping announced the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) in Zhuhai, South China’s Guangdong Province. The HZMB is a 55-kilometre (34 mi) bridge–tunnel system consisting of a series of S355ML Z35 three cable-stayed bridges, an undersea tunnel, and four artificial islands. Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is the world’s longest sea-crossing bridge connecting Hong Kong, Macao, and Zhuhai—three major cities on the Pearl River Delta.

Q195 steel has low carbon and manganese content, low strength, good plasticity, high toughness, and good process performance and weldability. 20# steel is high-quality carbon structural steel. Alloy elements are not specially added to 20# steel, and it is mainly used in the manufacture of machine structures, and the amount of use is particularly large. 20# steel has higher strength than Q195 steel, good weldability, no temper brittleness, and its workability can be improved by water quenching.

After the steel plate is produced from the original factory, it will pass through a series of transportation and storage links and then be delivered to the processing workshop. The oxide skin is a difficulty in the treatment process. It has high melting point, is not easy to burn and dissolve, increases preheating time, reduces cutting speed. Therefore, the surface of the S355ML Z35 plate should be derusted before cutting.
