Application and heat treatment of EN10025-4 steel S355M

As a common steel plate in the steel market, EN10025-4 steel S355M, manganese steel plate has the following characteristics. First, good toughness, stretching and crimping can be done well. Tata Steel Europe plans to cut 1250 jobs. Henrik Adam, CEO of Tata Steel, said: "the financial situation of Tata Steel Europe is very serious at present, and there is an urgent need to improve the company's performance and financial situation." Tata Steel has decided EN10025-4 steel S355M in November 2019 to cut 3000 jobs in its European operations to reduce costs. After a period of negotiations with the European labour Commission, the layoff plan cut that number by more than half, minimizing unemployment. Tata Steel has about 20000 employees in Europe.

After extrusion, the EN10025-4 steel S355M tube shall be removed for sizing. The sizing machine uses a cone-shaped bit to rotate into the steel embryo at high speed to drill holes to form steel pipes. The inner diameter of the steel pipe is determined by the outer diameter length of the drill bit of the sizing machine. After sizing, the steel pipe will enter the cooling tower and be cooled by water spray. After cooling, the steel pipe will be straightened. After straightening, the steel pipe is sent to the metal flaw detector (or hydraulic test) by the conveyor belt for internal flaw detection.

Bridge steel plates are thick steel plates made of carbon steel and low-alloy steel for bridge construction.
