The rolling process of s355jr iron sheet

A36 is American Standard ASTM material, SS400 is Japanese Standard JIS g3101 steel material for general structure, Q235 is Chinese standard GB700 material. The limitation of the content of the Mn element differs depending on the thickness of the A36 steel plate, and the A36 steel plate of 20 mm or less does not contain Mn. The s355jr iron sheet, Q235 steel plate has requirements for the contents of C, Si, Mn, S, P and other elements. But SS400 steel plate only requires S and P to be less than 0.050, and no other element requirements.

The addition of Ca element in steel such as s355jr iron sheet can refine grain size, partly desulphurize and change the composition, quantity and morphology of non-metallic inclusions. It is similar to that of adding rare earth in steel. It can improve the corrosion resistance, wear resistance, high temperature and low temperature resistance of steel, improve the impact toughness, fatigue strength, plasticity and welding performance of the steel, and increase the cold heading, shock resistance, hardness and contact endurance strength of the steel.

The s355jr iron sheet weatherability is 2~8 times of ordinary carbon steel, and the coating property is 1.5~10 times of ordinary carbon steel. It can be used thinly, bare or simplified.
