Mechanical properties of 42CrMo seamless steel pipe: tensile strength: 1080 MPa, yield strength: 930 MPa, elongation after fracture: 12%, reduction of area: 45%, impact energy: 63J. Due to the effect of carbon and chromium content, S460M steel plate, 42CrMo seamless steel pipe has better strength and hardenability, higher fatigue strength and resistance to multiple impact after quenching and tempering, good impact toughness at low temperature and no obvious temper brittleness. It is generally used after quenching and tempering.
