Is there a difference between seamless steel pipe and ordinary steel pipe? The general requirements of S275 material ordinary steel pipe are not so high, which are used in ordinary buildings or structures. According to the different materials and standards, seamless steel pipe will have different application environment. For example, seamless steel pipe for boiler requires pressure value. The preparation of S275 material galvanized steel before welding is the same as that of ordinary low-carbon steel. It is necessary to carefully handle the groove size and nearby galvanized layer. In order to achieve penetration, the groove size shall be appropriate, generally 60 ~ 65 °, with a certain gap, generally 1.5 ~ 2.5mm; in order to reduce the penetration of zinc into the weld, the galvanized layer in the groove can be removed before welding. In the practical work, the centralized beveling, no blunt edge technology for S275 material centralized control, two-layer welding process, reducing the possibility of incomplete penetration.

S355J2+N steel plate belongs to the European standard low alloy structural steel grade. S355J2 steel is equivalent to Q345D grade. S275 material, S355J2+N low alloy steel plate is widely used in bridges, vehicles, ships, building steel structures. Mechanical properties of S355J2+N steel: Yield strength: ≤16mm: ≥355; 16-40: ≥345; 40-63: ≥335; 63-80: ≥325;80-100: ≥315; 100-150: 295; 150-200: ≥285; 200-250: ≥275; 250-400: ≥265. Tensile strength: 450-680MPa.
