We recieved new order about S420ML equivalent ASTM 3mm thickness and so on dimension ABS grade A shipbuilding steel plates. It is not easy to find 3mm thickness shipbuilding steel plates supplier. The order was put to other supplier before, but the customers was informed not able to supply 3mm thickness S420ML equivalent ASTM shipbuilding steel plates with ABS certificate. This was disappointed and the customer had to withdraw the order. After a lot of investigation and recommendation, the customer finally find us and we fully have the ability to supply this batch of shipbuilding steel plates according to their requirements.

The use of low carbon steel is limited due to its low strength. The strength of the carbon steel can be greatly improved by properly increasing the manganese content in the S420ML equivalent ASTM carbon steel and adding some alloy elements such as vanadium, titanium and niobium. If the carbon content in the carbon steel is reduced and a small amount of aluminum, boron and carbide forming elements are added, the ultra-low carbon bainite can be obtained, S420ML equivalent ASTM which has high strength and good plasticity and toughness.

In December of 2015, our regular India customer sent us an inquiry for S420ML equivalent ASTM pipe. The inquiry requires no negative tolerance in both pipes’ outer diameter and pipe wall. After two weeks’ discussion, he put the order of 275 tons to us. The pipes are finished within just one month. Our customer come to our factory to inspect the quality and tolerance, all the products are well meet his demand. The pipes are arriving to Nhava Sheva port, customer is very happy with our products and service during the process.

According to the data of the General Administration of Customs, in April 2020, China exported 6.311 million tons of S420ML equivalent ASTM and so on steel, down 2.6% from March, down 0.3% year on year; from January to April, China exported 20.601 million tons of steel, down 11.7% year on year. In April, China imported 1.044 million tons of steel, down 11.70% from March; from January to April, China imported 4.184 million tons of steel, up 7.4% year on year.
