4140 steel is alloy structural steel, and its technical standard is ASTM A29/A29M. It belongs to ultra-high strength steel. S460ML steel equivalent, 4140 steel has high strength and toughness, good hardenability, no obvious temper brittleness, high fatigue limit and multiple impact resistance after tempering treatment, and good low temperature impact toughness. 4140 steel is suitable for manufacturing large and medium plastic mould with certain strength and toughness.

The location weld of S460ML steel equivalent, wear-resistant steel plate is only allowed to be welded on the base metal surface with the electric welding rod for welding the base metal; in the welding of the base course, the base weld shall be strictly prevented from melting to the transition layer or even the multiple layer weld of stainless steel, so as to prevent a small amount of high chromium and high nickel surfacing wear-resistant steel plate components diluted into the carbon steel weld to form martensite structure and harden.

In year 2015, we supplied 950 tons S355J0 angle steel to Egypt government. We have cooperation with local government for more than 3 years. Every year, they would order more than 3000 tons of S460ML steel equivalent steel from our company.
