ASTM A516 is also known as ASME SA516. The A516 / SA516 standard specification for pressure vessel plates, carbon steel, for moderate- and lower-temperature service. A grade S460ML steel mill intended primarily for service in welded pressure vessels where improved notch toughness is required, and is normally found in moderate and lower temperature applications. All plates over 1-1/2″ Thick are required to be normalized. A516 Grade 70 steel is the most popular pressure vessel grade of steel plate in the industry.

In January 2019, one of our Vietnam customer purchased 395.62 tons Q345B steel plate S460ML steel mill for their construction project, we prepared all the goods ready within 5 days, and supplied the goods with painting sand blasting to SA2.5 S460ML steel mill and priming gray oxide primer, and arrange shipment in time.
